The Magic of Celery Juice

Picture

On January 4th, my birthday, I decided not to eat cake. I decided that I was going to treat myself to something different this year. I started a 7 day celery juice challenge as a gift to myself. I had recently lost 14 pounds over the last months of 2020 and the usual holiday splurges were tamed due to the pandemic.nbsp;nbsp; There were no parties or big celebrations or tempting spirits or treats like in years past. So I made the decision to up-level my lifestyle habits and makenbsp; my 59th an action year toward better health and wellness. It's never too late to be more committed to healthy habits. After 7 days of juicing celery every morning, my skin is looking brighter. I feel like my digestion is improving and the intermittent aches and pains have quieted substantially.nbsp;

My 7 day challenge was a success! I decided to keep it going and today is day 11. My new goal is January 30th. Truthfully, celery juice has gotten me real curious.nbsp; There's so much hype and I've read so many stories about amazing miracle cures, I thought what the heck, just keep going..I will admit, I think my shoulders are feeling better. For several months now, my shoulders have been hurting in unfamiliar ways, cracking at the joints and with unusual aches and pains.nbsp; After 7 days of incorporating celery juice, I think it's making a difference. I simply want to see what kind of results it will produce in my body, mind and being at the end of 30 days. I will keep you posted.

I drink 16 ounces every morning first thing.nbsp; One bunch of celery, organic of course, makes the equivalent to 16 ounces of juice.nbsp; I've experimented with adding a Granny Smith Apple and juice of 1 lemon. It creates a tangy lively flavor.nbsp; I've also spiced it up with a chunk of ginger and 1 drop of d#333;TERRA essential oil of lemon. The majority of the days, it's just straight celery. I'm loving this new ritual. I sip it down and then put off any food for about 40 minutes. It is very satisfying.nbsp; I feel like it's a a positive action step toward better health and wellness in my 59th year. Celery juice is making my cells happy.

I don't know yet if I will go beyond the 30 days, the verdict is still out on that one. Either way, it feels like a good beginning toward healthier habits for 2021. I don't want to blame my aches and pains on aging or succumb to limited thinking, "that's just the way it is..as you age you get pain".nbsp; No, I believe good quality and high nutrient foods, along with specific supplementation and daily doses of healthy habits that include but not limited to light exercise, managing stress and a positive mental attitude can prevent aches and pains that can lead to more serious conditions.nbsp; I want the next decade, my 60's, to be my best years yet. It is a wise person who takes a periodic inventory and asks the question:
Are my actions, my thoughts and my deeds moving me toward better health or away from good health?

No matter your age, your health is not just the absence of disease. Your health is not stagnant. It is active and dynamic. If you are feeling sluggish, achy, overwhelmed,nbsp; depressed, have high blood pressure, are over weight, lack good sleep or have any other sorts of symptoms, it's time to take inventory and take a deeper look inside.nbsp; Maybe its your time for a celery juice challenge.. If you are ready to gently cleanse your body and create new habits to move into more vibrant health in 2021, try it. Or I can help you with creating a plan that will work for you.
