Two times a month, we gather in sacred circle to quiet the mind and drop into the heart. In a safe and loving environment, with a background of beautiful music, we sit and allow ourselves to comfortably become aware of that which keeps us from experiencing Oneness. Through guided meditation, conscious breath techniques and activating the inner observer, the monkey mind and outer distractions begin to slow down and even dissolve. From this peaceful place, new perspectives, potentials and simply the joy of being alive activate from within.
The Oneness Meditation is a flow of energy that has the capacity to bring about an immediate and profound shift. It breaks through the entrenched mind that is either in the past or the future causing a continuous feelings of separation and often confusion and loneliness. Meditating in a group experience magnifies the limitless field that is beyond the body and the mind. We create a timeless space of Oneness and greater sense of wholeness within and connection in relationship with the world at large. We contribute to the collective consciousness to bring about world peace, harmony and light both within and in the world simultaneously. This is an inside job, one human being at a time.
The Oneness Meditation was first experienced in India and referred to as the Oneness Deeksha. Deeksha, in Sanskrit, is defined as “transmission or blessing." It can also mean to initiate something within, qualities within our potential that were previously dormant or difficult to access. Experiences vary from palpable to the very subtle. As we all have a unique composite of life experiences, strengths, wounds, beliefs, talents and stages of personal growth, The Oneness Meditation brings about a shift in what is most needed at the time and consciousness awakens.
